Online giving is a convenient way to make a pledge payment or support your favorite college, department or program.
FOR GENERAL MEMORIAL GIFTS: Select the first drop-down menu option labeled “GENERAL MEMORIAL.” You will have the opportunity to enter specific tribute information further down on the form.
TO DIRECT YOUR GIVING TO A LISTED ACCOUNT: Select the drop-down menu option for the college or unit you would like to support. This will create additional drop-down menus to help you select the correct Giving Department and Giving Account within that department. Hover over each Giving Account to see an account description.
IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR DESIRED ACCOUNT LISTED: The Foundation handles numerous accounts, so not all are listed. In the first drop-down menu select the option labeled "UNLISTED ACCOUNT." Then type the name or number of the account where you wish to contribute in the field labeled “GIVING ACCOUNT NAME OR NUMBER.”
If you do not have the exact account name, please include enough identifying information in the provided box so that we can direct your funds according to your wishes. The Foundation will credit the account that most closely matches the identifying information you provide. Example: If you list "Small Animal Clinic," we will credit the Department of Veterinary Small Animal Medicine account.
Enter or choose the gift amount you would like to contribute to the account you selected. The minimum gift amount is $25.
If you would like to give to multiple accounts in one transaction, select the "ADD ANOTHER GIFT" button and repeat the process for each gift. A gift summary will appear at the top listing each gift and giving you the opportunity to add, edit or remove gifts. Your total gift amount for the transaction will appear towards the bottom of the page.
Indicate whether you are giving as an individual or on behalf of corporation/foundation/organization. Enter your contact information.
We require the gender and class year fields to assist with gift processing and database accuracy. If you are giving on behalf of an organization, you will also need to indicate the name of the corporation/foundation/organization.
Enter your credit card information. You may also select “CREATE AN ACCOUNT” at this time and choose a password to save your personal information for future online gifts. Your account will be immediately created using your email address as the login without having to leave the giving page. You will also receive an account creation confirmation email.
Please note: Many credit card companies have fraud detection systems that block your account from charging large amounts online. Please check with your credit card company before making a gift of $1,000 or more on this site.
Review the “TOTAL GIFT AMOUNT” box to ensure it includes all gifts you have entered. A gift summary appears at the top of the form, listing each gift you have entered.
IS THIS A ONE-TIME OR RECURRING GIFT? Select whether you would like to make a one-time or recurring gift. In order to make a recurring gift, you must be logged in. If you do not already have an account, select the option to create one. Once you select recurring, choose the frequency of your gift, gift recurrence date, and gift end date. You may also set a gift to be given in perpetuity with no end date.
Note: By logging in to your profile, you can add additional credit cards and change your default card so your recurring gifts can continue without interruption should your original card expire. You can also cancel your recurring gift if you so choose.
MY EMPLOYER WILL MATCH MY GIFT: If you are giving as an individual, you have the option to take advantage of a matching gift program. Select the "MY EMPLOYER WILL MATCH MY GIFT" checkbox. Type the company name in the "MY EMPLOYER" field. Select the "CLICK HERE TO FIND YOUR COMPANY" link to search for your company and see all the pertinent matching gift details you will need to complete your match.
IS THIS PAYMENT TOWARDS AN EXISTING PLEDGE? If you are making a pledge payment, select the "IS THIS A PAYMENT TOWARDS A PLEDGE?" checkbox and enter the pledge number or account name in the available box.
WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR GIFT TO HONOR SOMEONE SPECIAL? Indicate whether or not you are making a gift in honor or memory of someone. If so, please indicate the tribute type, name and occasion. If you would like a gift notification to be sent to the individual or family, please include their name(s) and mailing address.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: If you have any additional instructions for your gift, enter those in the box provided.
CLICK "REVIEW YOUR GIFT" TO CONTINUE.
Review your donation information. Should you need to make changes, select the "back" button. If all information is correct, click “Submit Your Gift” to process your gift.
IMPORTANT: Your transaction will not be complete until you review the information and click “Submit Your Gift.”
You will see a page confirming successful completion of your gift! You will also receive an email receipt which can be used for income tax deduction purposes.
To offset fees from our credit card processors, the Foundation charges a fee (currently at 3 percent) for gifts made via credit card. For non-endowed gifts, the fee is charged and paid when the gift is made. For endowed gifts, the fee is charged against the future income earned in the account; the entire gift is recorded in the endowment principal. In addition, the Foundation applies applicable fees to all gifts to support its operations. Please note: Fees do not affect the portion of your donation considered a charitable donation for IRS receipting and A&M giving totals.
The Foundation is registered with the appropriate authority in states requiring registration for solicitation. Contact us to obtain information about our registration.
