Responsibilities

Maroon Coat Duties

Maroon Coats℠ attend special events for the Foundation and the university, write thank-you letters and make phone calls. As ambassadors, the Maroon Coats℠ serve any task needed at the Foundation.

  • Attend bi-monthly meetings
  • Volunteer a minimum of 20 hours per semester
  • Submit annual dues of $60
  • Respectfully represent the Maroon Coats℠ and the Texas A&M Foundation in all areas of involvement on campus.

Mandatory Events

These dates include functions that all members must attend unless granted an excused absence by the executive council or Maroon Coat℠ adviser. Excused absences are typically granted for a member who must perform duties for another organization, has an academic conflict or provides a university-approved excuse.
